Sanctuary AI - Phoenix Humanoid Robot

• I was assigned to optimizing performance and service life of Sanctuary AI's Phoenix robotic hand. Researched alternative designs, designed and manufactured finger prototypes, tested the designs through mechanical tests, and offered design solutions that increased performance by 100% and service life by 500%.
• Performed structural finite element analysis for robotic hands, increasing strength and reducing weight while maintaining manufacturability index.
• Investigated failure modes and effect analysis of robotic fingers, offering design modifications to address the failure modes.
• Designed and manufactured actuator assembly jigs, increasing accuracy, repeatability, and speed of actuator assembly.
